An offer to students who want to do a semester in China
China is becoming ever more important as an economic partner, and more and more students
are interested in spending a semester in the "middle kingdom". For this group, the program
we offer is a complete package with Chinese language instruction, practical work and - optionally -
extensive leisure-time activities such as Taiji, calligraphy, excursions, and so on.
Services
A) 12-week intensive language course
with 20 course-hours (45 minutes each) per week in small groups of maximal 8 students in our
partner school “Capital Mandarin School” in Beijing. This school has 3 locations:
- near the 3rd Ring, right next to the World Trade Center
- across from the German Consular School, near the Consulate and the Lufthansa Center
- JiangJingTianCheng near the Lido Hotel
Complete instructional material is part of this package.
In about 100-800 hours, students with no previous experience can attain a certificate
HSK Zhongguo Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi汉语水平考试 (Basic Level) that documents the
current level of achievement. The course is also open to students with some knowledge of Chinese.
You will live with Chinese families which we carefully select for you, in EZ-Apartments or in a shared apartment
with 3-4 rooms. This will give you a chance to use the language skills taught in the course.
